Beijing, September 16, 2026 : China successfully launched nine satellites into their designated orbits aboard a Gravity-1 Y3 carrier rocket, marking another space launch from waters off the coast of Shanghai in eastern China.
According to China’s Xinhua News Agency, the rocket lifted off at 6:00 a.m. Beijing time from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, carrying a new group of satellites for the Qianfan constellation, along with an EUHT technology test satellite.
The launch mission was completed successfully, with all nine satellites entering their planned orbits, Xinhua reported.
